Cruising Guide Map: CS-9  After you lock through at CS4, there are a couple places in Waterloo for canal boaters to dock and check out the town.  Coming up starboard is a sign pronouncing the more than 30 shops you can check out in town.

Cruising Guide Map: CS-9  Around this point we passed one of the many canal boats you can rent for a few days to a week to tour the canals.
Cruising Guide Map: CS-9  For more information on how to rent a canal boat or to charter a cruise on the NYS Canal System, see our recreation section.

Cruising Guide Map: CS-9  Abigail's Restaurant is one of the few places outside of towns to dock and eat during the Cayuga-Seneca trip. See our restaurants section for a review of restaurants along the canal. Captain's Note: We passed right by Hidden Harbor Marina (see map) without even noticing it, so it is well named.

Cruising Guide Map: CS-9  Up ahead and about half-way from Waterloo to Seneca Lake is Inland Harbor Marina

Cruising Guide Map: CS-9  Inland Harbor Marina has full facilities for boaters and is at a great location on the Cayuga-Seneca. See our marinas section for more details.
Cruising Guide Map: CS-9  Now we are approaching the more populated canal section just before we reach Seneca Lake.  Remember to cruise slowly to be courteous, and to avoid getting tagged by the local constabulary. It's worth checking out the homes and cabins along this stretch, as they tend to be less "ramshackle" on the west side of the Cayuga-Seneca.

Cruising Guide Map: CS-8  Here are a couple of nice homes along the Cayuga-Seneca as we approach Seneca Lake.

Cruising Guide Map: CS-8  Off our port side is Barrett Marine, another full service marina right on the Cayuga-Seneca. See our marinas section for more details.

Cruising Guide Map: CS-8  We are almost to Seneca Lake! The bridges ahead are just before Seneca Lake State Marine Park and the entrance to Seneca Lake.
