Commentary

We have had good meals and we have had bad meals at the Boatyard Grill - it seems that consistency is an issue. We have also been very frustrated by the "waiting list" system they use instead of standard reservations.  The restaurant itself is beautiful, probably one of the nicest interiors in the Finger Lakes. I have made many recommendations to the management, some of which are listed below.

Recommendations for the Restaurant

bulletPlease start a reservation system that people can rely on.
bulletPut some signs out on the waterfront with your hours along with a noticeable by water "OPEN" sign.
bulletPut a sign near the restaurant slips explaining who they are for - patrons of the restaurant.
bulletHave your personnel watch the dock to aid boaters.
bulletKeep the outdoor bar open for a reasonable number of hours and staff it better.
