Review

We spent our first year at Hibiscus Harbor after a flood wiped out our dock and beach front on Cayuga Lake. By our measure this is the nicest marina on Cayuga Lake, as it provides most of the amenities boaters need for an enjoyable overnight outing and dining experience.

Like all marinas, the prices for the slips and services are expensive, travelers we've talked with think they are well over fair price, but there seems to be an unwritten law that says that marina owners can charge whatever they want for gas, goods, and slip fees.

Recommendations for the Marina

bulletImprove the bathrooms - even the private ones are not that decent.
bulletCheck on boats more often; I found when the water rose a good deal in the spring, my fenders were well above the dock.
bulletMark the entrance from the water!  Everyone complains that you cannot tell where the harbor is; a sign and some lights would help immensely, especially for night boaters.
