Boater Rating:

Lansing has a town park and marina on the shore of Cayuga Lake, and we have requested more information regarding transient slips and docks in the future, but it appears that there are no facilities for larger boats. Therefore we cannot give the town a Boater Rating of more than fair.  If we receive news of future plans or current development to provide more visiting boater access, we will update this review.

Docking

bulletThe Lansing Town Park and Marina (Myers Park) caters to local boaters on a first come - first serve basis and a rotating waiting list, so it is not satisfactory for visiting canal boaters.
bulletFinger Lakes Marine Services provides gasoline but no transient slippage so there is no way to visit the actual town of Lansing, which has a medium size mall and several good restaurants.  Even if they provided slips, it would require transportation to reach the shops and malls.
