Kopasetic Boat Gallery

bulletHere are pictures of the Kopasetic and some Sea Ray brochure shots detailing the 270 Sundancer layout and our opinion of the design.

The first mate relaxes at our 2002 summer slip in Hibiscus Harbor

The Kopasetic on our Sun Stream boat lift in Sheldrake.

Here's a view of the mid-cabin. This is the best place for full-size adults on our boat. The V-berth tends to be cramped.

The interior of the 2000 270 series isn't as flashy as the newer 280 Sea Rays (white as opposed to faux wood), but it is well appointed.

The galley sports a sink, single propane burner, fridge/freezer, and a microwave. Storage is scant.

The head is well designed and has the better Vacu-Flush toilet, but showering is an effort with little pressure and room.

The cockpit has well placed guages and has a built in VHF radio, remote control for the CD system, and the thigh-rise bolster seat.

The blonde comes with the boat (don't tell my first mate - I hid the blonde in a storage locker as a spare).

Brouchere shot of the arched version. We did not get the optional arch on the Kopasetic - I'm not dissapointed because we don't need radar.

First Mate Robin lounges onboard while I take a couple of beauty shots of the boat.

Here is our 2002 floating slip in Hibiscus Harbor in Union Springs NY.

The Kopasetic at rest in HH. Docking stern-to frayed my beginner nerves for the first part of the summer, but became much easier with practice.

The Kopasetic was delivered to Johnson Boat Yard in Ithaca, NY, and rested here while it was prepped for it's maiden voyage on Cayuga Lake .

Here's another picture at Johnson's Boat Yard, a full service marina at the south end of Cayuga Lake. There are no transient slips available.

A view down into the aft seating area.

One of the main reasons we bought this model year Sea Ray - we were assured of a step set on the cabin door, making bow access real easy.
